Meet Cammy

Camellia “Cammy” Townsend is a Nashville native. She enjoys traveling, cooking, sports, and spending time with family and friends. She has spent the majority of her life working production as a stage manager and director and behind the scenes for many events. She is a graduate of Nashville School of Arts and University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She studied Theater at both.

 

 She is currently enrolled at University of Oklahoma-Norman where she is studying for her Master’s in Arts Administration and Management. She aspires to produce movies, live events, and theatrical performances. 

 

Working with youth brings her joy and inspires her work throughout the city of Nashville. She is the co-founder of Youth About Change, an organization partnered with the JV Morsch School of Social Justice at Trevecca Nazarene University. The organization seeks to empower and educate youth to be activists for change in their neighborhoods.
