ASENATH 3'S

Historty

In May 2024, S. Renee Watkins, Past Grand Matron Moira E. Frierson, and Grand Secretary Jamillah S. Allen founded Asenath 3 with a vision of building an Eastern Star chapter rooted in service, leadership, fellowship, and compassion. Under the authority of the Most Worthy Eden Grand Chapter of Tennessee and affiliated with the Most Worshipful Genesis Grand Lodge of Tennessee, Ancient Free & Accepted Masons, the chapter was placed under dispensation in 2024 and proudly received its charter in June 2025.

Asenath 3 gets their charter 6/8/2025.

WHY

Asenath

Established under the legal name Asenath 444 and operating publicly as Asenath 3, the organization takes its name from Asenath, the wife of Joseph in the Bible. Her name has long been associated with wisdom, strength, faith, and purpose, qualities that continue to inspire the organization's work today. The number 3 honors the organization's three founders and reflects the collaborative spirit, shared leadership, and commitment to service upon which Asenath was built.

AS OF

Today

What began as a vision shared by three women has evolved into an organization dedicated to strengthening individuals, families, and communities throughout Middle Tennessee. Guided by the Order of the Eastern Star principles of charity, truth, and loving-kindness, Asenath 3 continues to transform compassion into action through service, leadership development, and meaningful community engagement.

Today, Asenath 3 carries out this work through the Compassion of Care Initiative, a comprehensive framework that supports Middle Tennessee residents from infancy through older adulthood. Through mentorship, family support services, wellness programming, and community engagement, the organization works to create opportunities for connection, growth, and long-term community impact.

While Asenath has grown since its founding, its purpose remains unchanged: to serve with compassion, lead with integrity, and create a lasting legacy of service for generations to come.
